Nice :-) Most people have never heard of little old boone. If you're ever in ATL. Feel free to hit me up. Sounds like you and Clay have some cool things going on.
I'm curious to hear a little more about how you GTD is working out for ya (checked out your blog).
Also, when I was on the train with Clay he mentioned how frustrating it was building an app from scratch with outsourced developers. In reality it's just a matter of thinking things through before you start building. Makes all the difference in the world.
Attached is a presentation I gave to the interactive designers at SCAD last year outlining how we approach a website project and the steps we take. It's focus is really on marketing websites, but there are some definite take-aways for building anything on the web.
Thanks for sending this along, lots of great stuff in there. That's awesome that you're working with SCAD, I knew a couple of SCAD graduates, and they were good peeps. The GTD is going really really well for me. I actually switched to a new private document for the GTD, and haven't yet had the impetus to move to a system outside of a google spreadsheet. I do love that it keeps me sane, it makes me negotiate with myself on a daily basis to accept that I can't do it all. It helps a ton for me.
Agreed, kudos to all. I had FUN on Tuesday!! Adam, please keep in touch (here's where I am on Triiibes), and the rest of you too! I believe !MBA applicants have invites, so come join the party, we have brilliant things going on and the more minds the merrier! ;}
Let me add my congratulations to those selected. Powerfully talented people in that room on Tuesday. Heck, I think I learned a great deal just from osmosis. I look forward to seeing what everyone (those selected and not, of course) does.
