Helping applicants with the logistics of the journey

Looking for a housing or a room mate? Find one here.

Finding a place to live in NYC is tough. Finding a place to live in NYC in a matter of weeks is tougher. I'm just starting the search.

Creative people are often shy, so this is your ice breaker. If you are looking for a place, say so. Let the board know what you are looking for in a room mate.

If you live in NYC and would like to open your doors (and get some help with the rent) let us know.

I already mentioned about looking outside of NYC. Now that I've done my research, I just wanted to mention to keep in mind the cost of the train ticket from NYC to Hastings. It's $58 per week if you buy it on the web. From Yonkers, it's just $15.

Is everyone seriously planning to be in NYC? Am I the only person looking at the suburbs? I'd love to have roomies because that just means the learning process goes on 24/7, but I'm not interested in paying three times as much just to be in NYC.

I'm with SusanVillasLewis.....Yonkers is more my style and a shorter commute. If accepted I am definitely up for sharing a place with some of you.
