Group Session Invitations

Well, if it's Dec. 14, that means I can finally tell you guys that I was invited to the information session. Whew. It's been a tough week keeping that under my hat! I'm seriously hoping some others of you have been holding onto the same info and now we can make some actual plans for meeting, etc.

I'm hoping to be done with my interview by 10 a.m. so I'm definitely up for brunch of any kind that doesn't make me late to the airport.

Hooray!! (Please, please someone else add to this thread to say you made it too!! There are so many people I hope get to come. Note that all Seth said in his email was that he hoped to have all invitations out by today, so there could still be some coming.)

That's where I'm staying!! And hey! My plane into NY is coming from Atlanta, arriving at 11 p.m.! We might be in Atlanta at the same time too. Wow! When do you get into Atlanta? Maybe we can do dinner. I'll have to check my schedule, though. That might be the part where I have to run to catch the next plane.

My plan was actually to get up and catch the bus, then the subway to the train. But I'm game for sharing a cab. My logic was not only just being thrifty, but also that I can count on the subway getting me where I need to be in a reasonable time frame. Not always the case with cabs. Maybe not such a big deal at 6 a.m., though. :-)

Bus to subway to train sounds good in the morning. Maybe we'll see Steve Martin or John Candy :-). Taking off late from SD - hope we make up some time in the air.

You are all awesome! It's so great to hear that so many from this one forum got chosen; it says a lot about Matt's ability to organize as well!

I, alas, was not picked to be part of this adventure, but I feel it was for the purpose of making things happen from Florida with the new people I've met through this experience.

Can't wait to read the blogs and posts from the NYC Experience though! I plan on sticking around here and posting and checking out progress, etc. So, don't everybody just scatter!
