Group Session Invitations

Well, if it's Dec. 14, that means I can finally tell you guys that I was invited to the information session. Whew. It's been a tough week keeping that under my hat! I'm seriously hoping some others of you have been holding onto the same info and now we can make some actual plans for meeting, etc.

I'm hoping to be done with my interview by 10 a.m. so I'm definitely up for brunch of any kind that doesn't make me late to the airport.

Hooray!! (Please, please someone else add to this thread to say you made it too!! There are so many people I hope get to come. Note that all Seth said in his email was that he hoped to have all invitations out by today, so there could still be some coming.)

I'm in - booked my flight this morning and flying out this afternoon, then coming back the 17th! What's your itinerary look like? (I have never, EVER booked a flight less than two weeks ahead of time... adventure!)

Ha! Me either. I'm such a planner so this last-minute stuff is kind of crazy. :-) So glad you're coming. That's two from TX!!

My schedule is - arrive in NY at 11 p.m. Monday night, staying at a hotel out by LaGuardia for the night. Catching the bus, then the subway into Grand Central in time to catch the train. I'm going to try for the 6:50 train, then just have coffee at the station in Hastings until it's time to head up to the office. I will be walking around GCS with a lovely sign so anyone else taking that train can find me and we can ride up together. Plane back leaves LGA at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, so I have to be out of Hastings by the 12:18 train if possible. The 1:18 train would be cutting it close, but is doable.

Lucky you to get to stay another day! I wish I could but Tuesday is my wedding anniversary and I figure I should at least see my hubby that day. :-)

Info session will be about an hour with interviews to follow for those who want them. I predict there will be a lot of enthusiastic yakkers who make it take longer. :-)

And I'm guessing if we haven't heard yet, we'll have to change the world from home (Including me) :)

And I wonder how many applications there were, as some were private. I'm guessing about 250.

Yes, absolute congratulations to you all! Such worthy choices. The day is not over yet, however, I'm guessing all invites have gone out. Truly looking forward to whatever we are able to learn as you all go through this program.
